Katlyn- Class of 2013 {by footsteps photography: Boise Senior Photographer}

We continued our streak of beautiful seniors with Miss Katlyn! This shoot was almost a disaster. In order to save time we decided to take a little shortcut. I was not wearing hiking shoes and slipped, fell and dropped the camera. Stacie (Katlyn's momma) ran down the hill, slid to the edge of the river and saved the camera that was inches from going into the river! She saved the day and saved our camera... we owe her big time. Needless to say,   Katlyn, Stacie, the camera and I all survived and we got some super adorable shots. Katlyn is a cutie and I am so glad I was able to capture her great smile. Aubrey + Apple Orchard {Fashion Photography by Footsteps Photography}

Today we got to spend the afternoon shooting together, but this time I (Aubrey) was on the other side of the lens. We had a great time and really loved the amazing light and color the orchard had to offer. Thanks mom for updating my modeling portfolio and our photography portfolio! I (Aubrey) am a very active pinner. I am constantly adding picture ideas, crafting ideas, and ways to take better pictures. Miranda- Class of 2013 {by footsteps photography: boise, id senior photographer}

We had a lady ask us if we only took pictures of beautiful seniors. We never really thought about it until she brought it up, but it's true... all of our seniors this year have been drop dead gorgeous. This girl is one of them. She is incredibly beautiful with the sweetest smile! Her smile is contagious and we had so much fun shooting her senior pictures. Miranda is not only beautiful, but like many of our seniors this year, she is very smart. She was a tiny bit late to her shoot because her honor society meeting went a little longer than scheduled.  So she is smart, beautiful and kind.... look out world when this girl graduates she is going to go places! So we had the pleasure this week of photographing two beautiful senior girls. They were both incredibly photogenic and so fun to shoot. Amanda, one of these beautiful ladies is not only beautiful but smart. She attends a high school where she spends her senior year earning college credit! She is beautiful, smart, and pulls off her cute pixie haircut with such style and grace. Thanks Amanda for spending the evening with us and choosing us to be your senior photographer!

We just love this couple! They both have such wonderful personalities. Derek is super funny and kept us laughing the whole shoot, and Erin is just a sweetheart. Miss Shellby is graduating this year! I have had the pleasure of watching this young lady grow up and she has really turned into a lady. She is a hard worker having a job and graduating early. The first time I met this young lady was back when I was in junior high and she was just a wee little one. She was a cute little girl and a great athlete even when she was really young. We were so excited to shoot her pictures. We knew they would turn out great because she is a really pretty girl, but they turned out even better than we expected! She wore the perfect outfit in the perfect color. Thanks Brooke! We had a great time! Michelle is one of those pregnant ladies that you get so jealous of. She is literally "all belly" as they say. Her and Jamie are the outdoorsy, loving fishing and hunting. We shot some inside, but we couldn't resist going outside and getting some with their dogs too! Congrats Michelle and Jamie! Kai is going to be one loved little boy!! Doggie Works!

So today I have a lot of catching up to do on the blog! It's been a busy couple of weeks!! We LOVE the ladies at Doggie Works in Kuna. They do such a great job with Val's dog Beaux who has long crazy hair. They asked us to shoot a picture of their dog and design them a new business card. We were honored and thrilled to do so. If you are looking for a great dog groomer, they are the place to go for sure! Here is their card:

Sarah found us through a friend of hers who happens to be a friend of ours! And we are sooo glad she did!!! We love such great love stories like these two have. They are truly a special couple with two sweet little kids, one with some serious attitude, the good kind of attitude... the kind you love to catch in a photograph! Thank you Sarah, Lawrence, Anthony and Mackenzie for spending some time with us down by the river. We LOVE how your pictures turned out. They are a real reflection of your love for each other.

Getting caught up!

We are so blessed to have such a wonderful support system! We thank all of our friends and family for believing in us. We also need to thank all of our loyal customers! So it's a little late for a New Years Resolution, so here is an April resolution :) We will get our booties in gear and get this website updated! Thank you for your patience.
